The product

innovas HI (Health Insurance) is the core product of the innovas insurance suite and the software basis for private health insurance companies. With its four components - Policy, Claims, Product and Statistics - innovas HI covers the entire operative core business of the health insurance industry.

Background

innovas HI consists of four core modules. Policy enables historised management of all contract data, monitors offers and records health data, as well as risk assessment. Policy is the component used to automatically settle claims and manage providers. It enables case-based management and premium refunds as well as medical audits in accordance with the medical fee schedule (GOÄ), dental fee schedule (GOZ), DRG and PZN. The Product module can be called up from Batch and Dialog and comprises a subsystem for premium and provisions calculations, new customer processing, tariff changes and premium adjustments. The fourth core module, Statistics, is used to operate explicit statistics interfaces from the operative components and to produce analyses for calculations and attestations.

Technology

innovas HI uses modern service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Java technology, and can be easily integrated into existing IT landscapes while meeting the company´s specific needs. The components are fully owned by the insurance company, which can independently manage the product and add individually selected innovas insurance suite modules as and when necessary.

Market

innovas HI is aimed at the German and international private health insurance market, and can be deployed by companies of all sizes and specialisation.
